Ottimizzazione di superfici

Ecco un esempio di ottimizzazione delle superfici:

Scultura realizzata dall'artista Carlo Borer con l'architetto Lorenz Lachauer.


L'artista ha chiesto di ottenere una superficie che fosse completamente sviluppabile in modo da facilitare i processi di lavorazione.
Nel video è possibile notare come, data una superficie inizialmente non sviluppabile, è stato possibile ottenerne una completamente sviluppabile attraverso l'algoritmo.
